The need for a Social Enterprise Conference Gala:  With the uncertain future of charitable giving, fledging nonprofit organizations are struggling financially to keep providing much needed services to an every increasing demand for their services. Moreover, if nonprofit organizations wish to survive into the next millennium, they must adapt innovative alternatives to funding in building sustainability in light of continuing cutbacks in government support. If nonprofits are to weather the years ahead, program administrators and project directors must become increasingly creative and professional at fundraising, planning, and management. With social entrepreneurs leading the charge, what’s next for the sustainability of nonprofits? Especially those at the grass-root levels. Thus, the purpose of this conference is to address, educate, and offer practical solutions to a business model sweeping the nation; Social Enterprise.  We will also examine the Social Impact Bonds and other approaches to venture development that will address the needs of not for-profits, with a social conscience, and nonprofits.

Who Should Attend? Whether you’re a current social entrepreneur or working in the social enterprise sector, mid-to-large corporations considering starting a social enterprise, business owners, nonprofit, or member of a public or private sector considering a Social Enterprise model for their business, charity or community group, or are simply interested in the social impact movement, we need your participation during this epic event!
